Duplo takes the roller-feed collator and finishing concept beyond the standard. The rugged and reliable DFC-120 Collator in-line with the DBM-120 Bookletmaker offer commercial, in-plant, and quick printers as well as educational institutions a cost effective solution to their collating and finishing needs.
Versatile Modular Design
The space-saving, vertical design of the DFC-120 is available a 12-bin or 24-bin configurations (24 bins with DFC-120 in tandem with DFC-120B) and can be expanded inline with the DFC-S Corner and Side Stapler Unit. The DFC-120 Collator can also be expanded with the DBM-120 Bookletmaker and DBM-120T Trimmer, creating a powerhouse system that allows for simultaneous collating and bookletmaking.
Programmable for Greater Productivity
The unique programmability of the DFC-120 offers the operator several options such as Alternating Program, Interleave Program, and Block Program to assure non-stop productivity up to 4,200 straight stacking sets per hour.
Exceptional Paper Handling
The roller-fed system handles bond, NCR, and some coated and card stocks. Additional durable rollers provide reliable feeding while reducing misfeeds and paper jams. With the feeding tray and paper separator adjustments, the DFC-120 Collators can run the widest variety of paper stocks in its class.
Optional DBM-120 Bookletmaker System
The automatic setting DBM-120 Bookletmaker and DBM-120T Trimmer offer speed, reliability, and compactness to help increase profits. It produces up to 2,400 professional booklets an hour – only a fraction of the time it takes to produce by hand. The optional DBM-120T Trimmer is designed to be used in-line with the DBM-120 Bookletmaker. This rugged trimmer precisely and consistently face trims booklets up to 80 pages.
DBM-120 Fully Integrated Communication
The fully integrated communication between the DFC-120 Collator and the DBM-120 Bookletmaker allows for full control of the entire system through the DFC-120 control panel. In addition, the Automatic Size Change (ASC) will communicate with the DFC-120 indicating the sheet size being fed and automatically perform the size changeover on the bookletmaker and trimmer. This in-line system includes sophisticated two-way electronic communication so the collator stops feeding if the bookletmaker is out of staples. The bookletmaker will not cycle when it is fed an incomplete set.
The DBM-120 is designed for simple set-up and foolproof operation. With the most common applications pre-programmed, bookletmaking is accessed at the touch of a button. Ten pre-set paper sizes and three programmable memory settings allow for odd size paper versatility. No timely manual adjustments are necessary as the side guides, head stops, staple/fold position stoppers, and machine automatically move to the correct positions. The operator is able to change from one job to the next in mere seconds. Even the optional in-line face trimmer automatically adjusts itself for preprogrammed paper sizes!
