Flexible Dies

They offer a high degree of cutting accuracy compared to steel rule and solid dies. They are easy to mount, with alignment marks on the cylinder for quick adjustments, and switch out in less than a minute.
Flexible dies perform a range of finishing capabilities including die cutting intricate shapes and kiss cutting stickers. They also perform perforations with specified teeth, and three-knife creasing to prevent toner cracking on folded applications.
High Productive Rotary Die Cutter
Run an efficient and productive operation with simple setups and changeovers. Once the die is mounted over the magnetic cylinder, job setup is completed through the touchscreen panel with individual buttons to start and stop operation. Make adjustments in 0.1mm increments along the width and length of the sheet to ensure proper sheet alignment. Use the three-step speed adjustment to slow down or speed up the rotational speed of the cylinder for consistent cutting.
Feeding up to 4,000 sheets per hour, the UD-310 features a high stack capacity of 8.7” (220mm). An ultrasonic double feed sensor detects when two or more sheets have been fed. The air suction feeder comes equipped with fans and air blowers to aid in the separation of double-sided laminated and synthetic stocks. They also help reduce static on digitally printed output.
Automatic Separation
With die cutting, separation is key, and the UD-310 comes built-in with a revamped separation station. It automatically removes the skeleton from the finished pieces, deflecting it into the waste bin. The separation station utilizes a cassette module with deflectors and pressure rollers. Only the finished pieces end up on the long conveyor stacker.
